Swinging hard and flying far to the WPIAL playoffs
The golf team had a year to remember, finishing third in their section and just falling short of WPIAL team playoffs. Led by low scorer, Junior Tucker Bitar, the team put it all out there every match. Senior Chantz Watkins and Bitar both qualified for the WPIAL individual playoffs at Willowbrook Country Club in Apollo. Bitar made it through to the final round which was held at Butler Country Club. Also, shout out to Bitar for getting a hole in one against Freeport, which was the last match of the year!
The team ended the season strong with an overall low scoring season (which by the way, in case you don't know golf, is a good thing). The final record was 12-4. Congrats on a great year for the Bucs golf team.
