Fashion trends at BHS and beyond

Trends in clothing tend to change very rapidly and drastically. Keeping up with what pieces of clothing, brands, or styles, can be difficult. The way people dress can say a lot about a person, and it helps to see their personality through the way they dress. 

For example, Lululemon, Athleta, Free People Movement, and Aerie are just some examples of athletic wear that is worn daily by students here at BHS. These brands are labeled as "athleisure" and might give hints about people's personalities. It might show that the people who wear these brands are athletic, like to stay active, and like to be comfy and cute while on the go. 

Many girls at BHS shop at brands like American Eagle, Pacsun, Brandy Melville, Zara, and Aritzia are clothing brands that are more actual regular clothes. These brands are known to stay on top of trends, and always be "on style". 

The style for guys clothing is a lot smaller than the number of stores marketed more toward women. Granted, there is a guys section in all of the stores mentioned above, but there is not a lot of marketing towards each of these stores for men. BHS students usually wear a lot of Nike, New Balance, Adidas, and Reebok. The style for the men at BHS includes a lot of sweatpants, shorts, tee-shirts,  and hoodies. Comfort is usually prioritized and always the right way to go. 

The style of shoes is about the same for everyone right now. The trending shoes of this year so far are Ugg (specifically the Tasman Ugg), Rebook, Nike sneakers, and New Balance. These shoes have been becoming very popular recently, and even the Adidas Sambas are coming into style. 

These are very popular styles for students here at BHS. Most people wear the regimens of these brands and styles. Everyone has their style and favorites. As brands and fashion continue to change, so will the styles of everyone at BHS!
