Senior Picnic
The Class of 2022 gathered on Wednesday, May 25 in Junior Court at the high school for their farewell picnic. After a day in beach wear (it was Beach Wear Day after all) to get them in the mood, the seniors gathered at 6 pm to celebrate. Since the power went out in the Middle School auditorium, they had to move the MS awards ceremony to the high school auditorium, and the seniors gathering was moved to Junior Court instead of in the front of the school. This class is used to going with the flow, so all events went on as planned. It was a wonderful day for a picnic: warm, no humidity, and a light breeze. Students were able to play corn-hole, Kam Jam, and a few other yard games. Those that remembered to bring a t-shirt helped themselves to some tie dye. The seniors were also treated to some Chick-fil-A, chips, and cookies! The sammies and nuggets were a hit and so was the company.
Senior Prank
The seniors ended the evening with an attempted camp out in Lot A as their Senior Prank but were asked to leave by the police around 11 pm. Between 40 and 50 seniors showed up to camp out. Those that attended said it was a fun, "chill" time with a cookout, video games, and a little bit of tennis. No one got in trouble, and they were glad they had a chance to hang out on school property for one of the last times together as a class.
Senior Sunrise Breakfast
The seniors were treated to a sunrise breakfast of Donut Connection and orange juice. Seniors gathered outside to welcome the day and the "almost end" of their senior year together at the break of dawn and then moved to the library for the not so early risers!
