Captains have positive outlook for Lady Bucs soccer season this year

This year’s girls soccer team captains are taking a more “laid back” approach to leadership this year and leading by example with high playoff hopes for the season. When asked about how they think the season will go, the captains all agreed that Shady Side Academy and North Catholic are going to be their biggest challenges this year.
The captains also have clear goals for what they hope to accomplish this year. “I want to win sections and make it past the quarter finals in playoffs this year,” said Junior Goalkeeper, Ali Hughes. Senior Center-Mid, Mack Lippert, added she wants to make “this the best year of Burrell Soccer.”
Every captain agreed that they are very confident they will make the playoffs playing as a team. Coach Nesko, Lady Bucs Soccer Coach, was also a favorite part of the season. They stated he is well liked by the team because of “how much he believes in us” and “his ability to joke and have fun with us”. The Lady Bucs are looking forward to a great season.
