Senior Football teachers honor staff

Every Friday, our Bucs football seniors have been giving their opposite color jersey to a staff member at BHS who has positively impacted their life. This is a great opportunity for the seniors to give something back to those staff members who have impacted more students than just the senior football players.

Senior Captain Caden Dicaprio commented, “Mr. Thome is my dude”, when asked why he chose Mr. Thome. He further explained that anytime someone mentions Mr. Thome or sees him in the hall he always responds the same way. When the teachers receive the jersey from the senior and they explain why they chose them, their face always lights up. The excitement doesn’t just end when they receive the jersey, the teachers also wear or hang up the jersey in their room with pride for that Friday for all the other students to see.
