The 2025 Homecoming Pep Rally was held on Oct. 3 during the last part of the school day. As always, the court was featured with dances and the crowing of the king, Jaden Floyd-Quigley who stole the crown and the crowd as part of the boys' dance. This year, the two class competitions were Hungry, Hungry Hippos and Tug of War. The Fall Sports teams were also introduced. This year's Emcees were Seniors Jordon Kemp and Kendel Ferner.
Jordon and Kendel really got the crowd ready for Homecoming by bringing the school spirit!
Hungry, Hungry Hippos
This game featured one team per each grade, making four teams total. Each team will have one person on a scooter and a teammate holding their legs. The goal is to grab as many balloons as you can in your laundry basket and return them back to your teammates to place in a trash bag before the time runs out. The team with the most balloons at the end of the game wins.
The Seniors ultimately prevailed coming in first followed by the Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen.
Senior Team: Gino Gianetti, Jacob Stewart, Lacey Peterson & Julian Bertucci
Junior Team: Ella Campbell, Eva Wilson, Zack Jones & Brady Rysak
Sophomore Team: Sloane Bires, Kinlee Moore, Jaxon Cruz & Ashton Anderson
Freshmen Team: Carson Gray, Isabella Miller, Jayla Shirley & Channing Miller
Tug of War
The juniors were surprisingly eliminated in their first round against the sophomores dashing all hopes of an upperclassmen showdown. The seniors were also able to beat the freshmen leading to a final match between the seniors and sophomores. After a pretty aggressive start and what looked like a sure win, the seniors let go of the rope to send the sophomores flying across the gym. The sophomores ultimately won the match, but the seniors had the last word in the game.
Sophomores win by default but not without a price to pay.

Court Dances
Jaden "steals" the crown during the boys dance and is officially named the 2025 Homecoming King.
As is tradition, the ladies of the court and the gentlemen of the court have a dance off. For the past two years, the crowning of the king has been part of the boys' dance. This year, although the crowd loved both dances, the boy's "applaud meter" claimed the them as the clear winner.
The court takes a bow at the end of the dance off.
