Hoco Dance

Burrell High School hosted Homecoming Dance '26 on Oct. 3 with the theme "Midnight in Manhattan"!

The dance was full of laughter, dancing, and singing. Students got their groove on and made memories for a lifetime. Songs the students request were played and students smiled all night long. Before entering the dance, many took pictures with their dates,  friends or Finley the Shark.

They served pizza, multiple kinds of chips, and water for the students to stay hydrated while dancing.

Freshman Samantha Bechdel stated, " The food was so good, and it was fun!"

Many students stated they wished the lights have been off because they did not like the lights on while dancing. Other than that, many other students stayed on the outside of the dance. Outside, there were twinkle lights, cornhole, and friends all around. The main part of the dance was held in the cafeteria. There were lights all around, a backround for photos, and balloons everytime you turn around. There were dance circles, including the Homeccoming Court: Seniors Abby Junod, Joey Roos, Riley Quinn, Sara Rayburg, Jules Junod, Vinnie Geurrini, Kendra Lewandowski, Cadyn Crawford ,and Trey Coury. The Homecoming Queen, Kendra and Homecoming King Cadyn, also took part in their own dance.

Homecoming 2026, was filled with pure laughter, dresses, sprarkles, and many balloons. Memories were made that night, balloons were thrown, and students were dancing. Homecoming was once again a hit.
