Interact helps with Annual Winterfest at Bon Air
On January 31st, Interact students volunteered at Bon Air Elementary School to help facilitate the school's annual Winterfest. The club members helped to run fun activity stations and dance parties. The stations included a variety of different winter-themed activities from building cup towers to standing like snowmen, and even racing against their classmates. During the dance party, the Bon Air students danced to Kidz Bop music and were able to participate in the Limbo. Sophomore Jori Beecan recommended volunteering at the event, "One hundred percent would do again! I enjoyed helping the children and going back to my old school," she said. The event took place during the school day, so the Bon Air students were excited to take a break from their schoolwork to do something fun with their peers and new high school friends.
