The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of BCIT Westampton.

By invitation only. Students in their junior or senior year with a 3.6 GPA or higher will be invited to attend a meeting in which the application and the selection process will be explained. In the application, students need to demonstrate outstanding performance in: Leadership (ex/ hold an office in a club), Service (community service in and out of school), Character (essay and discipline points)

• All new members are required to pay dues of $20, attend all NHS meetings, and to complete five (5) hours of community service per school year

• Existing members do not have to pay dues but are required to attend all meetings, complete ten (10) additional hours of community service per school year."
