Jesse Pappler

Adult Education Assistant Principal

Greetings,

It is with great enthusiasm that as of July 1, 2018, I will be joining the Adult Education Division Team in the role of Assistant Principal of Adult Education at The Burlington County Institute of Technology. As a lifelong resident of Burlington County, I come to you having served in prior roles within the district, at the BCIT Medford Campus. I was hired in April of 2006 as a Health and Physical Education Teacher. From 2006 until 2015 I also served in various roles such as Assistant Girls and Boys Basketball Coach and Assistant Boys Soccer Coach. I also was the Head Baseball Coach and Head Teacher for the Health and Physical Education Department. In August of 2015, I was appointed interim Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at BCIT Medford. Ultimately, I was hired in January of 2016 as the full time Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at BCIT Medford until I was transferred into my current role as the Assistant Principal of Adult Education.

Our Adult Education staff is currently in the process of preparing for another school year. Fall course offerings and registration are available on our website https://www.bcit.cc/Domain/582. Our classes are developed to prepare students for employment, further students’ existing education, and to promote lifelong learning. The Burlington County Institute of Technology is the place to go to for certifications, licensing, instruction, customized business training, and apprenticeships needs. Our entity is a public, post-secondary institution that offers more than fifty courses each semester in which our students may complete a “Career in a Year” program. We continue to expand and offer new courses in emergent fields that support New Jersey’s targeted industry sectors while promoting employment and skill development. In addition to courses that provide certification, there are skill building and introductory courses. These courses give our students an advantage when searching for that perfect job. With the assistance of our Advisory Committee, comprised of businessmen and women from Burlington County and beyond, the Department of Labor, Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Investment Board, The Burlington County Institute of Technology will continue to be a place where opportunities for skill development are created for students to help assure employability. I look forward to meeting each of you soon!

Sincerely,

Jesse Pappler
