Dance is about more than just performance. It is a form of communication, an expression of emotion and a vital part of society. I want students to embrace the many ways movement impacts their life and incorporate it as part of a healthy and expressive lifestyle. I want my students to see the potential within themselves as artists and work toward achieving their goals - artistically, personally and academically.
I love to travel and I have had the good fortune to study and perform dance in many countries on four continents. Dance is the universal language so that where ever you travel, you can always find someone to relate to.
Mrs. Gebhart began her dance training as a small child and later trained at The Southern New Jersey Academy of the Performing Arts at GCIT under the tutelage of David Kloss, Althea Leslie and Dale Schmid. Mrs. Gebhart has also trained in Rio de Janiero, Brazil at The Federal University, Deborah Cocker Modern Dance Company, Studio de Angel Vaianna and the Manguiera Samba School.
