This is my 6th year at Burkburnett High School, but it is my 22nd year teaching English. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2001 and my Master of School Library Information Sciences degree from Texas Woman's University in 2018. I have been married for 25 years, and we have two kids: Casyn is a BHS grad, and Rilyn is a 8th grader. (I grew up in Oklahoma, but my mom is a BHS alumni!)
