This is my 8th year at Burkburnett High School, but it is my 24th year teaching English. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2001 and my Master of School Library Information Sciences degree from Texas Woman's University in 2018. I have been married for 27 years, and we have two kids: Casyn is a BHS grad, and Rilyn is a 10th grader. (I grew up in Oklahoma, but my mom is a BHS alumni!)
