I hope to inspire you (or your child) to love reading, to embrace the many concepts and functionalities of reading, and to meet great authors, lands, and ideas through text exploration.

This is my 15th year in education, 12th in public education. I taught previously in Burkburnett ISD at John G. Tower Elementary, where I was a 5th grade reading teacher for five years. For the past two years, I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade reading at Vernon Northside. Before that, I was at San Angelo Middle School and Coleman Junior High. I am so excited to be teaching at Burk again, and I look forward to seeing all students, both old and new! It's going to be a fantastic year!
