I am a Special Education teacher at Burkburnett Middle School and have been teaching since 1996. A proud graduate of Burkburnett High School (Class of 1991), I went on to earn my degree in Elementary and Special Education from Oklahoma State University in 1996. As you can tell, my favorite colors have always been orange and black—Go Pokes!
I have four wonderful children, —Hayden, Cheriah my amazing daughter in law, Kamryn, and Kason—who keep me on my toes, and I recently became a proud grandparent! I love spending time with my adult kids as they navigate life, and I cherish every moment with my new grandbaby.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, crafting, and making memories with my family, and friends. I’m also a huge OSU Cowboy fan!
At school, I teach Content Mastery for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and find joy in helping my students grow into confident, successful learners. In addition, I serve as the Varsity Cheer coach at Burkburnett High School, where I love encouraging school spirit and leadership in our cheerleaders.
