Hello, this is my tenth year at Burkburnett High School teaching Computer Science, Robotics, Manufacturing Practicum. Before coming to BHS, I taught Mathematics for 10 years and co-sponsored the Robotics team for 6 years at Vernon High School. I love incorporating project-based lessons within my classes.
I am a 1986 graduate of Whitesboro High. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Texas A&M Commerce in 1990. I graduated with a Master's in Curriculum of Instruction in STEM education from Texas A&M University in the Spring 2018.
I have been married to my husband Allan for 37 years. We have three sons: Timothy who is 35, Lee who is 33, Kevin who is 18 and one son by marriage: Ethan who is 26; one daughter: Rose of Sharon who is 30; and one daughter by marriage: Michelle who is 32. I have five grandchildren: Coraline who is 4, Montgomery who is 4 and Ethan Zane Jr who is 3, Lily who is 20 months and Eleanor who is 3 months. I love crocheting, woodworking, hiking, camping, sewing and most of all I love spending time with my family.
