Hello all! I am one of two school counselors at Burkburnett Middle School! I provide counseling services to students with last names A through K. My personal vision is to empower each student at BMS to become a confident, empathetic, and resilient person who is prepared for lifelong learning, responsible citizenship, and personal success in an evolving world. I'm here to provide guidance, offer resources, and collaborate with you to navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and build a positive school experience for everyone.

Our Mission at the BMS Counseling Center

The mission of the Burkburnett Middle School Counseling Program is to provide students with meaningful guidance in their academic, social-emotional, and career development that has a lasting impact. We believe that collaboration with educators, families, and the greater community fosters a safe and supportive environment where students can reach their full potential, build healthy and stable relationships, and develop skills relevant to their future endeavors.

Who am I?

Well, for starters, I'm a busy mom of two incredible boys, one of whom is already a proud little "Bulldog" in our school district! I am a graduate of Midwestern State University and West Texas A&M. My heart belongs to Texas, where I've spent six years doing what I love most: teaching and nurturing young minds. I'm endlessly curious, always diving into the fascinating worlds of psychology and history.
