In this amazing art camp students will learn about different types of art and spend time creating their own artistic pieces! Pieces to be created are self portraits like Mary Cassatt, pointillism pieces inspired by Georges Seurat, 3D clay art similar to Vincent Van Gogh, and resistance water color floral designs inspired by Georgia O' Keefe.

We will be getting up and getting active with some cardio drumming. We will learn about the importance of our cardiovascular system, and discuss ways to keep it healthy. Our focus will be on cardio drumming. We will be rocking and rolling with drumsticks in our hands to make some great beats while keeping our hearts healthy and strong. Students will learn about cardio drumming and will learn some fun drumming routines. We will also be creating our own beats and moves to the music as we learn. Bring a bottle of water for our water breaks.

Together we will create beautiful, unique paper hot air balloons to light up the sky! Join me in this 3 day camp where we will plan, create and admire our creative work.
Students will be hands on in this camp and it will get messy. Dipping our hands into glue mixtures and painting our projects. Make sure students are wearing clothes that are okay to get dirty!

Have you ever made a paint or color by number? That is just like diamond painting only you are using rhinestones to create beautiful sparkly art! Everything your child needs to create their work will be provided for them. All they need to bring is their determination and creativity.
This task does require some patience, but it is a great way to practice! It will also help students practice and improve their fine motor skills.

This camp will be an opportunity for students to learn yoga poses and other mindful tools to help them to adapt in this ever changing world. We will be doing yoga, journaling, drawing, etc. This will help them to build self confidence and a growth mindset. They will build skills to self regulate their emotions and be empowered to be independent problem solvers.
Bring your own yoga mat if possible. They can be found at five below and/or dollar general for $5 each.
