Below you will find the camp offerings located at Cedar Grove, Lebanon Junction, Nichols, Roby, or Shepherdsville Elementary Schools. Please be sure to note the exact school location of the camp for which you are registering, as our camps are held at different school sites. Each camp is scheduled for specific weeks (noted below) and will take place from 11:30-2:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the week(s) it is scheduled. Students from all schools can attend a camp that is NOT in their region as long as they can provide their own transportation. If your child attends a school in this region and needs transportation to and from these sessions, please be sure to note this on your registration form.

We will work with your imagination, interests and art skills to create origami, drawings, watercolor paintings, and clay creations. Art materials will be provided.

This camp will be a great combination of themed art activities. Each day will be themed and geared to allow the student to see that they are creative and to embrace their own individual style with the help of literature.

This camp will give kids (both girls AND boys) the chance to express themselves through personal style. Students will be creating their own jewelry, learning some basic sewing, nail painting, drawing outfit designs, and exploring different aspects of style and design.

Do you love to take pictures? Do you like stickers and writing? If so, you'll really enjoy making a mini scrapbook. You'll need to bring 8-12 photos with you to our club. Once your project is complete, you'll have a special keepsake with your memories and favorite things.
This club is offered 5 different weeks - Students can attend more than one week as long as they bring photos each time).

Open to Grades 2-5 (Based on the 2020-2021 school year)
Students will learn how to make decorative scrapbook pages and layouts to help preserve their memories. Students attending should know how to use scissors correctly. Students will need to bring 10-20 photographs, no larger than 4 x 6 size, with them on the first session. The goal is for students to have at least 6 completed scrapbook pages.

Students will be experimenting with black lights to create their own glow-in-the-dark art masterpieces. We will learn about the science behind this effect as well.
***Parents, please note that this camp will include the use of lighting effects and may be unsuitable for anyone with light sensitivities.***

Students will learn how to improvise and perform short skits or "Reader's Theater" as well as learn elements of Drama. Students should be on or above grade level readers, as they will need to read parts from a script. Students may learn how to make easy puppets or masks, use props, and learn about scenery.

Does your child love to write? Is your child creative? Or, does your child just want to learn new ways to become a better writer? This camp is open to students in 2nd-5th grades (2020-2021 school year). Students attending this camp should enjoy writing and be open to explore a variety of writing genres (types of writing). Students will learn a variety of ways to become better writers and how to collaborate with peers to receive feedback.

We will be painting canvases. Then we will add different other supplies and crafts to out paintings to make make out painting come to life and 3-D with legs, arms, eyes, etc.
