News and Updates September2020:

*504 and Speech Meetings are held on Friday each week unless parents have a scheduling conflict and in that case they can contact me for a schedule change.

Core Counseling Lessons for March:

**During the month of March K-5 students will learn Coping Strategies Relaxation techniques.

**Students interested in Discovery School will test prepare for applying to Discovery School.

All classes will be learning the same general topic each month; the lessons may very per grade clusters (K-1, 2-3, 4-5 levels). I teach 2 classes a day (4 days a week) in the Library so I see each classroom every 3 weeks during the school year.

Work Ethic Letter

Throughout the year 5th grade students are encouraged to participate in Work Ethic and we recognize students that demonstrate work ethic by meeting specific criteria. Teachers send the forms home early in the year; Click the link above for the Form and Criteria. The end of the year celebration for 4th grade is in May at Pleasant Grove and our district wide 5th grade Work Ethic Award Ceremony is scheduled for 6 pm on May 23, 2019, at Eastside Middle School. I will need all the names and forms to me not later than April 21st:

Work Ethic Certificates will be Awarded to the following 5th Grade students for the 2020/2021 School Year!

PBIS Team News:

Our PBIS team works hard to create a Positive Culture and Climate in our school for students, staff, and all who visit our school. We meet monthly to reflect, evaluate, plan, and improve. Meeting Dates are the first Wednesday of each month at 4:00-5:00 pm.
