Super Words are high-frequency sight words from the i-Ready Magnetic Reading curriculum that students learn to recognize instantly. These words build reading fluency and comprehension, whether they can be sounded out or need to be memorized. Some follow phonics rules, while others are "tricky words" that don't.
I am sharing these words here with you. You can access them by clicking on the image to the right of this passage. Each slide builds on the one before.

We love to celebrate birthdays in our classroom. If you would like to bring in a treat for your child to share at the end of the school day, please make it simple to pass out and send me an email so I can plan for it and update you on any classroom allergies we may have. We have 27 Students.
Homework packets will go home in the daily folder each Friday and should be returned on Thursday.
Please make sure you set aside time each night to unpack your child's nightly folder, listen to your child read aloud and practice math facts together.
