Teófila Enríquez has a degree in Nutrition and is currently completing a master's degree in Public Health with a concentration area in Nutrition at the School of Public Health of Mexico. With a diverse professional background, Teófila has experience in implementing nutritional surveillance systems for children under 5 years of age in rural communities and has studied the consumption of insects in the traditional diet of the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Her current interest focuses on addressing the influence of environmental determinants, and her master's degree topic focuses on the urban built environment with the analysis of exposure to green spaces and their association with the risk of cardiometabolic factors, environmental justice, and inequities in health.
