Epsilon Eta at Boston University is a multi-gender professional environmental fraternity that promotes a healthy and sustainable environment and connects students to industry, community service, and academia in pursuit of these goals.
Epsilon Eta acknowledges that the land on which our organization operates is that of the past Indigenous peoples of Eastern Massachusetts. This includes the Massachusett, Wampanoag, and Pawtucket. We understand that settler governments forced displacement of these Indigenous peoples along with other acts of violence, resulting in consequences for both their cultures and the ecosystems of the land. This land is still home to the Mashpee Wampanoag and Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah). Our statement is a step towards acknowledging this history.
