Bell Sound Creation

For this project, the aim was to recreate the sound of a bell based only on the Cross- section on the left-hand side, knowledge of its material, and its diameter. I assumed a 1-meter diameter at the base, and that the bell is made of bronze. Then, I used Solidworks' Vibration Analysis to trace the cross-section and revolve it around its center to create a 3D model of the Bell, and used SolidWorks' Vibration analysis to find out the natural frequencies. Then, I wrote a Matlab Script to turn these frequencies into a sound file, by modeling the sound as a linear combination of decaying sinusoids.
