Welcome to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School Counselor's page!
As a Middle School Counselor, my mission is to serve as an advocate for all students at DDE. My goal is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that focuses on academic, career and social development. As middle school is a period growth and discovery of self identity, it is important to empower our students to maximize their potential and excel in a diverse society.
As Professional School Counselors, we work with students on an individual basis, in small groups and in their classrooms. The focus of the counseling program is to enhance academic skills, career awareness, and personal/social skills. We also attend parent-teacher conferences at the request of the parent/guardian or teacher, as our schedule allows.
Ms. Episcopo's Bio:
My name is Ashley Episcopo and I am the new School Counselor at DDE Middle School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's in School Counseling from Monmouth University. My dream since middle school was to become a school counselor -- my dream came true. I am originally from Northern New Jersey, attended college in Central New Jersey and made my way down to South Jersey where my Fiance grew up. I have been a resident of South Jersey for a year and welcome suggestions for great places to eat, visit, or shop. Outside of school, I love to hike, ski and spend time with family and friends.
