Chromebooks "hide" many of their incredibly useful features in the form of keyboard shortcuts. Concerned you can't memorize them all? Fear not! This video shows you how to activate a searchable list of shortcuts to help you find the one you want.
*Along with showing you where to find: Cut, Copy, Paste, Screenshot (whole screen), and Screenshot Region (snipping a specific part of your screen)
Let's keep it simple: Here are some quick fixes for common Chromebook issues:
To fix:
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Search (Magnifying Glass) + h
Click on the Settings/Clock section at the bottom right of the screen
Click the gear icron
Scroll to the bottom of the list and click "Advanced"
Scroll down to the "Accessibility" Section
Click on "Manage Accessibility Features"
Click the toggle for "High Contrast Mode"
To fix:
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + Refresh ('spinny arrow' above the 4 key)
Click on Settings/Clock section at the "bottom right" of the screen
Click on the gear icon
Scroll down to "Devices" section, click on "Displays"
Set the "Orientation" back to "Standard"
If something seems "off", see if you can deactivate settings to fix it
Click on the Settings/Clock section at the bottom right of the screen
Click the gear icron
Scroll to the bottom of the list and click "Advanced"
Scroll down to the "Accessibility" Section
Click on "Manage Accessibility Features"
Look through to see if any are activated (blue) and deactivate to see if that solves the problem
It may require restarting the Chromebook to take effect
