Google's Chrome web browser is the same browser that powers Chromebooks. If you are familiar with Chromebooks, then you'll be right at home with the Chrome web browser.
The Chrome web browser was the first to allow you to save bookmarks and passwords, which could then be transferred or "synced" to another computer by signing into the browser with your Google account. Most web browsers now offer this feature, so it's not as ground breaking as it once was.
The advantage to using the Chrome we browser is that by signing into the browser, you can seamlessly navigate your Google products without having to deal with a potentially complicated sign in process each time.
