Introduction

Beishi Junior High School was officially established on August 10, 1978.

The first principal, Mr. Li Tianchang(李田昌), took over the appointment on August 23, 1978, and immediately devoted himself wholeheartedly to school establishment and affairs. 

The second principal, Mr. Chen Yong-teng(陳永騰), continued to operate for one year.

The third principal, Mr. Chen Nian-tian(陳年添), took office in September 1983. He vigorously promoted the reform of school affairs, made it a green campus, constructed administrative buildings, art corridors, gymnasiums, and Beizhong River, etc. Moreover, he also enriched teaching equipment, improved the quality of teaching, and strengthened character education. The improvement resulted to school recognition by the community.

The fourth principal, Mr. Jin-zhi(黃金智), took over in 1992. He adopted the leadership style of democracy, harmony and happiness to promote the progress of school affairs. He made good use of social resources to assist the development of the school.

On February 1, 1997, Mr. Du Jin-cheng(杜進成), the fifth principal, continued to lead the school. Regarding the future development direction of school, he emphasized "promotion and vitality, humility and self-examination, excellence and innovation" as the school vision. It means developing new strategies with new thinking, making the school full of vitality, and constantly pursuing growth, making it an ideal new century school.

The sixth principal, Mr. Chang Ching-chin(張清欽), was inaugurated on 1st August, 2015. He proposes "offering students stages to develop their talents, flipping education with innovation, and building a harmonious  and friendly campus". He also emphasizes character education, cultivating  students with "Five Virtues," including  a sense of morality and responsibility , empathy, gratitude and honor. Moreover, he put great emphasis on reading education to build a solid foundation of student academic ability. With diverse clubs as an intelligent development platform, the adaptive development of students can be possible. By continuous innovation and progress, Beishi Junior High School will have a bright future.

Mr. Lin Hong-tai(林宏泰), the current principal, assumed office on August 1, 2023, with a vision centered around five operational strategies: "Community Prosperity and Highlight Creation," "Parent-Teacher Collaboration and Care," "Diverse Learning Unleashing Talents," "Principal's Leadership Creating the Future," and "Intelligent Administration Enhancing Efficiency". His approach aims to cultivate each child's enthusiasm and confidence, fostering an international outlook and mobility. Encouraging proactive curiosity towards surroundings, Mr. Lin promotes a research-driven spirit and cross-disciplinary integration to nurture versatile talents. Leveraging emerging technologies for autonomous, intelligent learning, he advocates a positive, sunny attitude towards life, nurturing a wholesome character that cares for humanity and the disadvantaged. The aspiration is to provide children with the best education for the best life, fostering dreams alongside students and staff, aiming to excel in the Taichung coastal region.
