Dear Friend,
Tell me you have not forgotten me, for I feel lost and abandoned here. Tell me that you are simply waiting for the right moment to save me from this table of doom; that you have thought about making me yours again. Did I not give your soles a place to rest? The energy to run! Did I not warm your arms when the world around us dropped to unimaginable lows? Did I not hold water to quench your thirst day in and day out? Did I do this all to be left here and watch more join me?
You walk by every day, and yet you are oblivious to my existence. Have you not noticed you have lost me!? Have you not noticed I live on that giant overflowing table just inside the school doors!? I am lost, yes, but tell me I will be found.
Yours,
Whatever You Lost (That now lives on the GHS Lost & Found table)
