One of the cardinal experiences of high school is having loads of classes that require hours of studying and work. Whether transcribing notes, writing essays, or preparing for tests, studying is a lot of hard work and your house may not always be the best location for studying either. Students have had to venture out to a number of other locations. One such example of an outside location for studying is Mukai Coffeehouse.
The coffeehouse is located right off of Oak Street, around two miles from Gallatin High School. The coffeehouse itself is big. Inside, there are plenty of options for sitting down, from couches, booths, low tops, and high top tables. If a student forgets to charge their chromebook, they need not worry, as there are plenty of outlets. The coffeehouse does create an atmosphere of loud background noise with many other conversations occurring, so if a student prefers the quiet, they should bring headphones.
As for the coffee itself, it is perfectly warm, not so hot that it would burn. There are also plenty of iced coffee options available. The flavor in the flavored beverages stands out clearly. The food is also worth mentioning. A muffin or a cookie is the perfect sweet treat for a student needing a little boost for their study session, and there are also more healthy options, such as sandwiches.
In conclusion, Mukai Coffeehouse is a place students should consider if they’re looking for the next place to study.
