Principal of the Year!!!

You may have seen Erica Schnee among our halls, but you may not have noticed how much she does for our school. While the average student may not have noticed all Principal Schnee did this year, the Montana Association of Secondary School Principals sure did as they awarded her Principal of the Year. 

The Montana Association of Secondary School Principals of course did not make this an easy award to obtain with rigorous requirements, not being limited to but starting with at least being according to the MASSP website “an active principal of a school in which a commitment to excellence is clearly evident” a consecutive 3 years of being an active principal, and a strong student performance. Schnee clearly shows that she is a more than qualified nominee and recipient of this award by her clear passion for not only her position but those in her school as her motto stands as “[The] Goal is to educate students and prepare them for life.” 

Schnee goes above and beyond with her job “always evolving and developing, I (she) could never get bored!” This illustrates the corroboration of years that Schnee credits to her winning of the award. This award stands for more than just Schnee’s personal achievements but overall the school that has been fostered and thrived under her years heading GHS. Afterall Schnee pushes that this award was won not only through her efforts but through the school’s community whether that be the booster club, the faculty or student council. So next time you see our Principal Schnee passing by be sure to congratulate her on her triumph in this award and thank her for all she’s done in leading GHS’ positive legacy through the years.
