This is a column dedicated to recognizing students who represent the GRIT characteristics our school strives for, and we hope this will inspire others to give back to our school community. For every issue, we will ask two teachers to nominate two students each that they have seen positively affecting their peers and being a good influence in the school.
For this month’s edition, the two teachers chosen to recognize students are Ms. Ball and Mr. Hickey.
Clayton Sayre - Clayton consistently turns in high-quality work. He is an exceptionally strong reader and writer, and his ability to analyze literature is well beyond his years. What I appreciate most about Clayton is the respect he shows his classmates and teachers. He’s an outstanding individual who has a bright future!
Dani Stubsten - Dani is a serious-minded student who always turns in high-quality work. Dani applies herself 100% to everything she does. If she has questions or needs clarification, she doesn’t hesitate to ask. She is also a talented artist! I look forward to watching her achieve great things in the future!
Logan Brown - Logan is always positive and polite. He pushes his group to work hard and he always turns in his best work. He asks great questions and shows a genuine interest in learning.
Addie Robb - Addie tries her hardest on everything she does, she helps those around her and is a great group leader. She asks good questions and advocates for her classmates when they need it.
