There are an increasing amount of jobs available in the Medical Field, but most require many years of schooling. Bryan University offers the Certificate Program in 10 months and the Associate Program in a total of 20 months.
Getting your degree allows you to gain school credits to be able to transfer them to another degree if you further your education. Having a degree means better pay.
There are a total of 752,460 jobs as of the 2022 Bureau of Labor website with at least a 16% growth. The median pay for a CCMA is about $40,700 per year. Higher if you have a degree.

As a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant, also known as a medical administrative specialist or, an administrative assistant, you perform many functions that fall under administrative tasks.
Some of the duties as a CMAA would be:
Answering phones
Schedule patents
Transcribing dictation
Preparing reports for the healthcare provider or other regulatory agencies
CMAA can be found in Doctor's offices, Hospitals, Outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities.
With the right training and experience, CMAA's can earn up to $50,000 anually.
