CADET CORPS COMMANDER (CC)
Must be at least a third-year cadet and must complete the Cadet Leadership Course. Assigned by the SASI and ASI.
The CC is responsible for:
• Commands and controls the Corps through effective staff and subordinate leaders
• Oversees proper appearance, discipline, efficiency, training, and conduct of the Corps
• Supervises Corps activities in accordance with Air Force, AFJROTC, and school regulations, principles, and procedures
• Convenes and presides over Cadet Review Boards
• Presides over key staff meetings
• Leads the Corps parades
• Acts as the Master of Ceremonies during the military ball
• Establishes, tracks, and assesses Corps goals in accordance with AFJROTC directives
• Ensures criteria are met for the distinguished unit award
• Works closely and informs the SASI and ASI of all planned staff activities
• Provides input to SASI and ASI for National Awards and staff positions
CADET VICE CORPS COMMANDER (CV)
This individual must be at least a third year cadet in good academic standing.
The CV is responsible for:
• Assists the Corps Commander in overseeing proper appearance, discipline, efficiency, training, and conduct of the Corps
• Assumes command of the Corps during the absence of the Corps Commander
• Supervises the Logistics Support Squadron, Mission Support Squadron, and Operations Support Squadron Commanders
• Posts key staff meeting dates and times
• Assists the Corps Commander in compiling and assessing Corps goals
• Assists any Cadet Officer who has difficulties with the AFJROTC program
• Informs the Corps Commander of any disciplinary issues
• Attends Cadet Review Boards
• Attends Corps staff meetings
CADET COMMAND CHIEF (CCC)
Must be at least a third-year cadet and must complete the Cadet Leadership Course. Assigned by the SASI and ASI.
This individual is responsible for:
• Serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the Corps Commander on all issues regarding the welfare, morale, and proper progress of the enlisted corps
• Provides direction for the enlisted corps and represents their interests to the Corps and Vice Corps Commanders
• Maintains discipline, customs, and courtesies at staff meetings and school activities
• Informs Corps and Vice Corps Commanders of any morale and welfare issues and recommends solutions to the Corps and Vice Corps Commanders
• Coordinates morale activities
• Serves as a liaison between noncommissioned cadet officers and cadet officers
• Attends staff meetings and prepares classroom for staff meetings
• Attends Corps Review Boards
• Organizes the Corps for parades
• Assists any enlisted cadet who has difficulties with the AFJROTC program
OPERATIONS SQUADRON COMMANDER (DO)
Must be a second-year or third-year cadet and complete the Cadet Leadership Course. Assigned by the Corps commander.
This individual is responsible for:
• Assumes command of the Corps in the absence of the Corps and Vice Corps Commanders, or when directed by the SASI and ASI
• Supervises the Flight Chief as directed by the Corps Commander
• Ensures cadets comply with uniform and grooming standards
• Ensures Flight Chiefs conduct proper training of cadets, including drill and ceremony
• Ensures Flight Chiefs are meeting Corps goals
• Attends staff meetings
• Attends Cadet Review Boards
• Organizes and evaluates monthly recognition boards, such as Cadet of the Month and Flight of the Month
MISSION SUPPORT SQUADRON COMMANDER (MSS)
Must be a second-year or third-year cadet and complete the Cadet Leadership Course. Assigned by the Corps commander.
This individual is responsible for:
• Maintains a complete record of all Corps events and activities that take place
• Assists the SASI and ASI in scheduling cadets for base visits, field trips, and similar activities
• Maintains the official Cadet Corps personnel files in WINGS (i.e. awards, duty position, rank)
• Oversees Corps website
• Oversees Corps recruiting events
• Ensures cadets are meeting academic and physical training requirements
• Enters cadet activities in WINGS
• Oversees Leadership Development Requirement Teams (Awareness Presentation Teams, tutoring, public affairs, physical training, recruiting team leaders Supervises drill teams, color guard, marksmanship, rocketry, StellarXplorers, Blue Crew, etc.)
• Oversees Corps tutoring
• Oversees community service events
• Attends staff meeting
LOGISTICS SQUADRON COMMANDER (LG)
Must be a second-year or third-year cadet and complete the Cadet Leadership Course. Assigned by the Corps commander.
This individual is responsible for:
• Oversees the Corps uniform inventory
• Assists the ASI in issuing uniform items and ensuring cadets sign for the items they receive
• Assists the ASI in collecting uniform items at the end of the school year
• Ensures accountability of issued uniforms
• Maintains accurate records of all accountable property in WINGS
• Maintains a neat, clean, and functional logistics room
• Ensures only authorized personnel have access to the logistics room
• Provides guidance to the cadet staff on proper supply discipline
• Attends staff meetings
Squadron Support Assistant
Must be at least a second-year cadet. Assigned by the squadron support commanders.
This individual is responsible for:
• Assists the squadron commander in their responsibilities
• Assumes command of the squadron in the absence of the squadron commander
• Attends staff meetings in the absence of the squadron commander
