Flight Dollars - Each month all flights will collect flight dollars. The objective is for each cadet to pay $1.00 into this fund. Payment into the flight fund is encouraged but not mandatory. There are no restrictions on cadets volunteering to pay the $1.00 fee for other cadets if they choose. The maximum amount collected for each flight is set at $1.00 per cadet assigned to the flight. For example, if a flight has 23 cadets assigned, the maximum amount allowed to be collected is $23.00. The flight that earns flight of the month will be awarded the flight dollars collected from all flights for use on a team building activity. All team building activities must be per-approved by the SASI or ASI.
Each member of the flight designated as the outstanding flight of the year will be authorized to wear the AFJROTC outstanding flight ribbon on their uniform.
