The Air Rifle Marksmanship program trains and educates cadets in the responsible uses of air rifles through gun safety training, marksmanship training, and competitions. Marksmanship is open to all 2nd, 3rd and 4th year cadets and 1st year cadets who successfully complete the 1st semester. All Cadets MUST have a Parent/Guardian consent and release of liability form and cadet safety pledge signed and on file to begin training. The competition team will consist of 4 Cadets and 1 alternate cadet. Team Member selection will be based on the top five firing scores from the National Standard Three-Position Air Rifle course of fire. All training, practice, and events are coordinated by the American Legion Post 159.
