Class Overview
Algebra I Support is designed to provide students with additional instruction and practice alongside their Algebra I course. The class reinforces essential algebraic concepts, strengthens foundational math skills, and builds confidence through guided instruction, collaborative learning, and targeted interventions. Students develop problem-solving strategies, mathematical reasoning, and perseverance while receiving individualized support to help them meet Georgia Mathematics Standards. The goal is to equip students with the skills and confidence needed for success in Algebra I and future mathematics courses.
About Your Teachers
Hello! My name is Megan Umlauf, and I'm excited to be your Algebra I Support teacher this year! I am originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, and this is my 10th year teaching. I have been teaching Algebra I Support at Richmond Hill High School for the past six years, and I love helping students build confidence in math and reach their goals.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and having a great year together. Let's make this a fun and successful year!
