Class Overview

The Level I Spanish language course focuses on the development of communication

(reading, writing, speaking, and listening) in the target language and understanding of the culture(s) of the people who speak the language. It assumes that the students have minimal or no prior knowledge of the language and culture. The class is vocabulary heavy, as well as basic grammar structure for sentence construction.
