BRVGS CS Team Project

Project Overview

Apps play a huge role in making our lives easier and allowing us to do things that we haven’t been able to do before.

Apps are encountered on personal, family, community, and global levels. The most popular are games, but there are useful ones as well - for banking, navigation, social interaction, shopping, etc.

We make apps!

As a project team, you will research, design, build, test and market your app.

As a company, we’ll decide which app we would further develop.

  • In a recent discussion board, your team discussed and voted on possible apps to build.
  • At our Kickoff Field Trip, we will begin the process for researching, designing, building, testing, and marketing your app.
  • Over the next few weeks, you will work remotely with your team to complete the phases of the app-building process.
  • At our Presentations, your team will sell your product to the rest of the BRaVe Goose appS company.
    • This will be a "competition" among the teams, to see whose idea is best suited to be fully developed and marketed to the world.

Project Phases

This project has been split into several steps, or Phases, to help you stay organized and complete all of the tasks that will be graded. Each Phase has its own deadline, so look at your calendar each day to avoid penalty points for being late.

  • Phase 1 responsibilities are the same for everyone, since you are starting off together, and will be completed before you leave the Kickoff Field Trip.
  • Each team member has different, but overlapping, responsibilities in the other Phases, which means that you will all receive your own, individual grade for this project.
  • See the documents below for the project details and rubrics.
