I have loved being the principal at The Dorset School since July, 2011. Prior to my time in Dorset, I was a principal at Groveton Elementary School in northern New Hampshire, and Assistant Principal at East Brunswick High School in New Jersey. Before moving into administration, I worked for 18 years as a music teacher at both the elementary and high school levels in East Brunswick, NJ. I live in Dorset with my family, as I felt strongly when we moved here that I wanted to create deep and lasting ties to the community. I am thrilled to be a part of The Dorset School, the Taconic and Green School District and the Bennington Rutland Supervisory Union. I truly believe that through our collaborative efforts, we can create a school system that works first and foremost for children. I am thankful every day for the creative and talented staff here at The Dorset School. We are supported by a wonderful school board, involved and positive parents, and a community that is dedicated to doing what’s right for kids!
Hi, my name is Kelly!
My family and I moved to Dorset six years ago and absolutely fell in love with it. I’ve been working at the Dorset school and I am going on my fifth year. I worked for three years in the kitchen and now I am in the front office. I am married and have three kids. One is a sophomore at BBA and I have an 8th and 5th grader right here at The Dorset school. I enjoy spending time with my family and many outdoor activities.
