4th Grade celebrates Roald Dahl on his 102nd Birthday!

5th Grade teaches us all about turtles at All School Meeting! Everyone gets an opportunity to speak at All School Meeting. We share what we're learning, we celebrate birthdays, we share celebrations and news.

Everyone had such a great time showing off their costumes at our Halloween Parade!

Veteran's Day is always a special day here at Mettawee. We honor our local Veteran's with a breakfast, songs, poems, and an enormous amount of gratitude and pride.

Preparations are bring made for our community feast honoring the senior citizens in our lives. Each student helps prepare a portion of our feast and we feed close to 400 people. Our sixth graders peel and dice all the butter squash!

We LOVE All School Read!

Every student and staff member finds a cozy place to settle in and enjoy a good book.

The whole school kicked off our All School Read event by reading "This Is How We Do It" by Matt LaMothe. It is a perfect connection to our Books & Beyond theme this year as it is a story about one day in the lives of seven kids from around the world.
