Speech-Language Specialists

Bridgewater-Raritan High School

The high school Speech-Language Specialists are members of the Child Study Team who conduct speech and language assessments, recommend accommodations, develop IEP goals and objectives, and provide therapy.

We work with students to improve receptive language skills, expressive language skills, speech fluency, voice, memory skills, social skills, and problem solving/reasoning skills.

We teach non-verbal students to achieve improved self-expression through the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. In addition, we assist hearing impaired students by monitoring hearing aid status and maintaining FM units for classroom usage.
