About Me
I was born and raised in Big Rapids. I attended Big Rapids Public Schools for my entire K-12 education. I went to Brookside Elementary, then to the Middle School on State Street, and then the High School next to the river. After graduation, I attended Michigan State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. I worked and lived in Howell, MI for 15 years as an Elementary PE Teacher. During this time I earned my Master of Arts Degree in Education from Michigan State University. In late 2016, I was thrilled to find out there was an opening for a PE Teacher in Big Rapids, my hometown. I was offered the job and I happily accepted it! I have always wanted to move back to Big Rapids. My dream came true! I am very happy to be living and working in Big Rapids! I love being an Elementary PE Teacher!
