Visual art as a cultural agent, is positioned to advocate for reimagined practices of human and non-human coexistence. Canis lupus coexistence visualizes complexities within the wolf and settler-colonial human relationship – wolf and livestock conflict – inviting us to implement new ways of existing as co-equals with our wild and domestic kin.
This project was developed with collaborator and Creature Conserve mentee Deepika Nandan, exploring the challenge of shifting human and wildlife interactions from conflict to coexistence.
