After the Blizzard

On February 22, a blizzard passed through Rhode Island, leaving behind a record-breaking snowfall and a full week of canceled university classes. A week-and-a-half later, I was finally able to trudge through the snow to get to the piano, where I found that it had weathered the storm quite well. Perhaps because of the high winds moving the snow around or the protective tree canopy above, there wasn't as much snow drifted around the piano as I thought there would have been.
Days in place: 1113
Weather: cloudy, 43°F
I was surprised to find that very little snow had drifted on or around the piano.
The wood veneer has been gradually fading, and these wooden pieces at the front of the piano are coming loose.
Much debris has collected inside the piano.
Sometime during the course of the winter, the Baldwin name sticker has disintegrated.
