Parents' Evenings

As education is a partnership between home and school, we believe that it is important to regularly share information. Of course, parents are always welcome to phone school or speak to the staff to book an appointment at anytime throughout the year. In fact this is far better than waiting for a formal meeting as things can be sorted out immediately.

In each term, we hold a parents' evening meetings to allow for a formal meeting to discuss your child's general wellbeing and approach to their schoolwork, their current attainment and the progress they are making. There are fixed dates for these (visible in the calendar) in the Autumn and Spring Terms. In the Summer Term, you are welcome to book an appointment with your child's class teacher having read their report, but there are no fixed dates for this as not all parents attend this final meeting.

Invitations to book your appointment are sent out a couple of weeks before the event by the school office via our online booking system, SchoolCloud. If you have any problems, then just get in touch with the office staff.

Below are some hints and tips to ensure that you get the most out of your parents' evening appointment.
