Plastic sheets
Vacuum
Object trying to mold
The Mayku Vacuum former
Make sure you have the shop-vac hooked up
turn on the Mayku to your desired temp with the far right knob (it's different for every material but it should say on the box)
Set your timer. left of the temp knob (Do NOT press the start timer button) around one minute works best
wait for the green light next to the temp gauge to turn solid green (Not Blinking)
Once the Light has turned solid green you are ready to start softening your plastic.
Peel the protective layer off the plastic.
Take the top layer of the former and click it into place at the top (A little force is required)
PLace the Plastic on the bottom layer making sure it is centered. (It will look clear when you take the backing off see step five)
Take the top layer and snap it in with the bottom layer then pull it all up.
Place the thing you want to mold in the middle and start the timer by pressing the button on the far left
When the timer hits solid green the vacuum has been primed and will start automatically when you lower the top
(Also the timer doesn't need to end if it is getting really droopy the vacuum will still start)
Once you see the plastic ripple and bow firmly but gently start to pull the plastic down by the yellow handles. The vacuum will automatically start and you can let go of the handles.
Once it is done forming press the timer button to stop the vacuum. Turn off the temp. and let your piece cool. (Do NOT touch it right after forming leave the top layer on for about a minute)
