"One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, 'Lord, teach us to pray...'" — Luke 11:1
The Focus: Start your week by evaluating where prayer sits in your daily routine. Don't let it become a reactionary measure reserved only for a crisis. Today, intentionally offer God your ordinary, routine moments before any problems arise. Give Him the steering wheel before you ever hit a flat tire.
Heart Questions:
If someone looked at your calendar and thought life yesterday, would they say prayer was your engine or your spare tire?
What is one routine part of your day that you usually handle on autopilot that you need to invite God into right now?

Scripture to Consider:
"Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to offer him." — Luke 11:5–6
The Focus: Today is about absolute honesty. The man in Jesus’ story didn't pretend his cupboards were full; he openly admitted his emptiness. Bring your real limitations to God today—your exhaustion, your lack of patience, your financial worry—and admit that without Him, you are empty-handed.
Heart Questions:
In what area of your life are you currently trying to hide your "empty cupboards" from God or from others?
How does admitting your total dependency on God actually bring relief instead of shame?
Wednesday: Shameless Audacity

Scripture to Consider:
"I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need." — Luke 11:8
The Focus: God is never annoyed by your persistence; He is invited by your urgency. Today, pray with bold, relentless focus. Bring that one "impossible" situation or broken relationship to Him, drop your polite reservations, and keep knocking on the door of heaven.
Heart Questions:
What prayer request have you quietly given up on because it felt like nothing was changing?
What would "shameless audacity" look like in your personal prayer life this week?
Thursday: Tracking the Power

Scripture to Consider:
"But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." — Luke 5:16
The Focus: Jesus’ public power was the direct overflow of His private desperation. Today, intentionally carve out a "lonely place." It doesn't have to be a mountain; it could be five minutes in a parked car, a quiet corner before the kids wake up, or a walk around the block. Sit in His presence before the demands of the day take over.
Heart Questions:
What is the biggest digital or mental distraction keeping you from slipping away to spend quiet time with the Father?
Are you trying to give others the "overflow" of a spiritual tank that is currently running on empty?

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6
The Focus: Human strategy cannot engineer a supernatural life. Today, actively lay down your self-reliance, your five-step self-improvement plans, and your exhausting coping mechanisms. Trade your clever management skills for total submission to the Holy Spirit.
Heart Questions:
In what specific situation are you currently relying entirely on your own intellect, budget, or strategy to fix?
What would it look like to genuinely hand the controls of that situation over to God today?

Scripture to Consider:
"They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers." — Acts 1:14
The Focus: As the week comes to a close, shift your focus from your individual life to the corporate body of Christ. Pray for tomorrow’s church gathering. Pray that our congregation breaks out of the comfort zone of "polite religion" and enters the room tomorrow ready to seek God desperately together.
Heart Questions:
How can you intentionally prepare your heart today to receive what the Holy Spirit wants to do through the church community tomorrow?
Who in your life or neighborhood is currently "out of fuel" that you can carry to God in prayer right now?
