Log In
Go to NoodleTools
Click 'Log In'
Use the Google button (make sure you're signed in to your school Google account)
Create a new project
Find the green button in the upper right corner
Click '+ New Project'
Title - Ask your teacher and make it relevant to your assignment
Select the appropriate citation style per your teacher's directions (usually MLA)
Citation level for the high school is Advanced
Click 'Submit'
Create a new citation
Click 'Sources' tab at the top of your screen
Find the green + in the upper left corner and click 'Create new citation'
Choose the correct location of the item you are citing
Database? Website? Print (in hand)? Viewed/heard live? File? Other?
Identify what the item is
The color coding is there to help you select the correct item
Clipart, online image? Select 'Photo or image (born digital)'
Fill in all items with an *
Fill in other information if it is available
Always include a URL if there is a box for one
Click 'submit'
Share a project w/teacher
If working in a group, ONE member creates the assignment and then SHARES it with the rest of the group.
To share with your teacher's inbox:
Go to the "My Projects" screen (look in the blue section at the left of your screen)
Find 'Sharing' and click the + sign
Type the name of the teacher's project inbox
HINT - type the teacher's last name - find the correct one for your class
Make sure your first and last name are in the 'your name' field
In the top box, start typing the correct project (your teacher will tell you what it is called) and select if from the list
Click 'Done'
Share a project w/group
If working in a group, ONE member creates the assignment and then SHARES it with the rest of the group.
Go to the "My Projects" screen (look in the blue section at the left of your screen)
Find 'Sharing' and click the + sign
Enter the student's school email address
You may ask them to type it in on your computer
More than one? Click 'Add student'
Click 'Done'
Accidentally delete it?
On the Project screen, click the three vertical dots
Click 'Undelete'
Select which of the projects you want to restore
