For my Personal Project, I planned, organized, and completed a backcountry skiing expedition in Garibaldi provincial park to the Elfin Lakes. Throughout the course of the Personal Project, I learned many wilderness and outdoor skills such as avalanche safety, route planning, skiing, and snow camping. All the trip planning preparations I did before executing the final expedition were to ensure that the backcountry skiing journey was as successful as possible.
