I have been interested in the injury recovery side of athletics for a while now. It is crucial that a player knows the proper steps to recovery in order to make a full comeback to their sport. I have also always been interested in film. Film is a significant art form, and I enjoy the idea of being able to create authentic and original content. It was my goal to combine these two interests through my Personal Project by creating a documentary about hockey injury recovery and prevention strategies.
Interview with Josh Hicks → getting the perspective of a young athlete on the topics of injury and injury recovery.
Filming footage for documentary (off season) → Training during the off season will help someone to become a better athlete by the time the season starts up again
Filming footage for documentary (balance) → having good balance keeps players on their feet and in the game longer, in general, every hockey skill requires good balance in order to execute.
